Dr. Walt Bogart, MD

Walt Bogart, M.D is the Medical Director at the Spectrum Eye Center. Dr. Bogart graduated from the University of California, Berkley. He received his medical training at the Baylor College of Medicine. His residency in ophthalmology was in Washington, D.C. at Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Bogart has served his country in both the Army, Airforce, and was a hospital commander in Sinai, Egypt.

Dr. Bogart received his post-doctoral training in all aspects of Laser Vision Correction. He has performed thousands of LASIK procedures and is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the country.

Dr. Bogart is among a select few of eye surgeons who have been certified to teach other doctors the technology necessary to perform laser vision corrective procedures. Additionally, Dr. Bogart is the most experienced IntraLase® - Blade Free - LASIK surgeon in the upstate and central South Carolina.
